An artist since early childhood Penny has been getting paid to draw and paint, in some medium or another, by hand or by computer, her entire adult life. For many years as the owner of a small business providing graphic design and photo realistic renderings she honed her skills in composition, color and value. Fascinated by the endless problem solving of oil painting and fueled by a neurotic love of color she finds it to be ultimately utterly rewarding. Penny prefers working on large canvases with subject matter ranging from figurative to abstract landscape – depending only upon what speaks to her. | |
